March 2007 - Thank you and an Introduction of our New Affiliate Coordinator

Hi, Everyone!
First off, I would like to thank each and every one of you for the tremendous success of OneSource. The launch of OneSource has been a fantastic success, and it continues to grow exponentially. Many of you have increased your sales, conversion, and of course the amount on that monthly check. [A round of applause to all please]
I am very excited to announce that we have expanded our affiliate team to include a new affiliate coordinator, Colleen Darwent.
Colleen was born in Michigan but grew up in Durban, South Africa. She moved back to the United States a few years ago and is currently working on her Business and Marketing degree. Colleen brings to Worldwide Brands her project coordinator experience from working in a variety of development projects. Her responsibilities include working with affiliates to develope and manage their affiliate accounts and assist the supplier research department with trade association relations. If any of you visited our booth at eComXpo this week, you will have met her there. I am still the Affiliate Manager and will be managing the program. Colleen will be assisting me in replying to your queries, confirming commission postings, assisting with promotional development, and affiliate communications like this newsletter.
WHAT's NEW for our Affiliate program?
The Worldwide Brands Video Center has two new videos that have just launched and we're constantly adding new ones. Next month, we'll be working on a specific video focused on importing products from China. Remember you can use the video center and the OneSource tour as a promotion or resource tool with your affiliate id. It's all within the tool located in the Affiliate Center.
On April 1st, the reporting system for your affiliate commission tracking reports will be updated. This will not effect your commisisons or any of your current links. It will only be an update in the back end to the reporting features. There will also be an announcement in your affiliate account when the update has been completed.
WHAT"s COMING?
eBay Live - Worldwide Brands will be hosting a 20x20 booth at eBay Live 2007 in Boston in June. If you're planning to be there, let Colleen and I know so that we can set up a time to meet. Rob Cowie, Worldwide Brands President, will also be presenting several presentations about basic product sourcing, advanced product sourcing, and market research if you're interested in learning more about Worldwide Brands expertise.
Affiliate Summit in July - Colleen and I will also be at the Affiliate Summit East Conference in July in Miami, FL. If you plan to attend, let us know so that we can set up a time to meet you in person. If you don't know much about the Affiliate Summit , I recommend that you check it out.

Marketing Quick Tips |
Use SubIds to track the sales for specific links
In our affiliate program, you have the ability to track specific links with a subid function. To add a subid to your link just add &sub= to the end of your href .
For
example, an affiliate link to our landing page would be
http://www.worldwidebrands.com/?kbid=XXXX&sub=link1
Replace the XXXX with your affiliate id and
link1
can be any name up to 25 CHARACTERS with no spaces. An "_" or a "+" can
be used but please do not use any dashes or wild characters.
You can then review your sales associated to each link name in your affiliate account under View Reports - Manage Subid's section and View Reports - Transaction History section. This marketing data will help you determine which links are generating the most amount of sales and use this knowledge to increase your sales from other links. |
