My name is Colette. I am the new affiliate manager for Worldwide Brands. I joined the Worldwide Brands team in April 2006, and have spent the past few months reviewing and revising our Affiliate Program. My responsibilities include developing and expanding our affiliate relationships. We’re in the process of implementing many suggestions provided by our affiliates over the years, and you’ll see those changes in the upcoming months.
WHAT’S MY BACKGROUND?
I graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology as a Mechanical Engineer and worked in the manufacturing industry for several years. I've been playing in the internet industry for a while but decided I wanted to get more serious and chose to join Worldwide Brands as an affiliate manager. I am very familiar with web design and many of the struggles we face as affiliates. My goal as Affiliate Manager is to help you as much as possible by improving the Worldwide Brands affiliate program and provide the information you need to develope your skills within affiliate marketing. I am very open to ALL forms of communication: email, phone, or instant messaging. Feel free to contact me at anytime. I will do my best to answer you as quick as possible.
WHAT’S NEW?
One of the first items on my list was establishing a monthly newsletter to provide you with useful info, updates, helpful tools, new banners, etc. Hence… the first edition of our New Affiliate Newsletter! In each newsletter, you will find a section for how you can earn premium commissions. I'll provide helpful marketing tips that you can use to improve your PPC campaigns or increase your conversion rates. The "Did you know" section will include upcoming events that are very helpful for learning more about affiliate marketing practices. I'll also include any updates to the program in this section. Also, note that you will always have the shortcut buttons at the top to visit our FAQ section and our Affiliate Tools section where you will find a multitude of different banners, custom text links, and more that you can use on your sites.
In addition, our Affiliate Center has been updated, with several changes:
- Our Affiliate Agreement has been updated to reflect the latest changes in the industry and changes to our program
- We are transitioning to a minimum payout of $50 per month which equals only 2 Premium Product Sourcing Package sales
- The Affiliate Tools have been updated with RSS feeds and new images for the radio shows and Product Sourcing Newsletter. More images will be added so keep checking for updates
WHAT'S COMING?
- Many affiliates have requested the option for payment through direct deposit or Paypal. We're investigating both and will let you know if and when it changes.
- Upgrading our third party solution provider. As you know, we currently use myAffiliateProgram (Kowabunga) to track click-thru statistics and commissions to ensure you that all your sales and statistics will be accurately recorded and tracked. We’ll keep you posted on the upgrade process.
- Many affiliates have suggested a Rewards Program. We’re exploring different options and will let you know the details about the new rewards program through this newsletter.
